The law firm of Buckley Wynne & Parese is pleased to announce the addition of Taylor Teulings as an associate.

Attorney Teulings, a Branford resident, joins the firm to represent victims of serious injury and loss. She is uniquely qualified to serve victims of personal injury, as she previously worked at BWP for ten years as a student intern and legal assistant before and during law school.

“Our team has the sole focus of representing individuals injured through negligence or wrongdoing,” said Attorney John Buckley, Jr. “Taylor is a terrific addition to our team. Having mentored her since she was an intern ten years ago, we have watched her grow into a knowledgeable, skillful, and dedicated attorney who brings real empathy to her advocacy. We are grateful that she chose to learn and grow with the firm over the last ten years.”

Born and raised in Hamden, Connecticut, Attorney Teulings worked for BWP as a summer intern while a student at Holy Cross, where she earned her undergraduate degree in economics. The firm’s early mentorship encouraged her continued education as an evening student at Quinnipiac Law School.

While she pursued her law degree in the evening division at QU Law, she continued to work at the firm balancing work and studies. She graduated with honors a semester early passing the February bar exam. She was sworn in as an attorney in May of 2024.

Throughout her professional development, Attorney Teulings has sustained BWP’s longstanding community-focused mission. Her early involvement with Hamden High School athletics included serving as an assistant coach for both the field hockey and ice hockey teams. While she stepped away from coaching to focus on law school, BWP has now supported her return to the Hamden High girl’s hockey program as an assistant coach, recognizing that strong community ties enhance their ability to serve clients effectively.

Attorney Teulings is admitted to both the Connecticut bar and the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut, and maintains membership in the American Association for Justice, Connecticut Bar Association and New Haven Bar Association.
