Tie One On For Safety® is MADD’s longest running Designated Driver Campaign. Now in its 35th year, Tie One On for Safety® originates from the phrase “tie one on,” which is slang for drinking alcohol. MADD uses the phrase to remind everyone that drinking and driving don’t mix.
BWP is proud to have supported MADD Connecticut’s 2021 “Tie One On for Safety” campaign. John Buckley attended the event last Thursday, November 18th – at the South Windsor Police Department.
Local drunk driving arrests have increased by an alarming 111% over the last 5-months compared to the first half of the year. View the remarks from South Windsor Police Chief Lindstrom as well as from Bob Garguilo, MADD’s New England Region Executive Director, on YouTube at: https://qoo.ly/3f3qsm
You can help by tying one on for safety this holiday season – display a MADD red ribbon, magnet, or decal on your vehicle.
And remember:
We understand the stress of dealing with an injury. Our team is here to provide compassionate support and effective legal representation, statewide.
