New Haven-based injury law firm, Buckley Wynne & Parese, is proud to have sponsored Guilford Fund for Education in their annual fundraising program - "Trivia Bee 2021" family trivia event that took place this past Sunday, March 7, 2021. This event, held virtually over Zoom this year, was created to promote engagement from the community and fun.
The event was a success - featuring trivia, prizes, and grant info. Guildford's educators and students have shown tremendous resilience this past year and during the course of the Trivia Bee, participants learned about the Covid Grants that Guilford Public Schools have received to enhance their classroom experiences, both virtual and in person.
The Guilford Fund for Education (GFFE) is a non-profit, community-based organization established in 2006. The purpose of the fund is to encourage and support the creation of innovative projects that will enrich the education and growth of all students in Guilford.
Buckley Wynne & Parese, originally founded by John Wynne in 1881, donated to sponsor the Trivia Bee this year, and the firm continues to place a strong emphasis on community involvement in the Greater New Haven area. Its founders believe that as part of this community, BWP has an obligation to contribute and support our local community and charities.
