The Society of Collision Repair Specialists recently announced it would host its popular Repairer Driven Education series online Nov. 2-6, the same week as the virtual SEMA360 event.
Society of Collision Repair Specialists, now in its eleventh year of collaborating with the Specialty Equipment Market Association on the SEMA Week Repairer Driven Education series, has brought on Attorney John Parese as a Featured Speaker for a presentation entitled "Litigating and Winning Short Pay Claims".
This education series has been carefully crafted by the Society of Collision Repair Specialists to deliver relevant content which speaks to business conditions experienced by collision repair professionals operating in today’s marketplace.
Parese, considered a leading voice in the collision repair industry, will discuss field-tested techniques utilized to fight illegal and unethical insurer practices, including demand letters, administrative complaints, and lawsuits. He will guide attendees through a review prerequisites for engaging in litigation, and best practices to facilitate a more profitable and transparent business.
A senior partner at Buckley Wynne & Parese, John Parese has been active with and fighting for the rights of auto body shop owners for over thirteen years. Here in Connecticut and throughout the country, John has consulted with auto body shops and lectured on legal issues affecting the industry. John has worked with countless local, state and federal officials; and for over a decade has served as General Counsel to the Auto Body Association of Connecticut.
